A property dealer was shot dead in a brazen daylight attack near an eye institute in Sector 9 on Wednesday, triggering panic in the area. According to initial reports, the assailants arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire at the victim, a resident of Mullanpur in New Chandigarh, pumping in around seven rounds before fleeing the scene.
