YouTube has taken down over 1,000 AI-generated deepfake ads that scammed users by showing fake videos of celebrities like Taylor Swift and Joe Rogan. This comes after an investigation by 404 Media showed the prevalence of such misleading ads, following which YouTube said it's "aware" of the issue. The now-deleted videos had approximately 200 million combined total views.
