YouTuber Matt Watson has alleged YouTube's 'recommended' algorithm enables paedophiles to connect and share links to "actual child pornography" through video comments. Videos with such comments are allegedly being monetised by brands including Disney and McDonald's. Watson alleged YouTube is aware these videos exist and paedophiles watch them as the comments are often "most upvoted ones".
