Yuvraj Singh, before venturing into cricket, had acted in Punjabi movies as a child artiste. He performed cameos in two Punjabi movies, Putt Sardaran De and Mehndi Shagna Di, in 1992. Yuvraj, who turns 37 today, won the Player of the Tournament award in the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup, which India won after defeating Sri Lanka in the final.
