A hybrid between a zebra and a donkey was born in a zoo in the Chinese city of Suqian. The animal, the offspring of a male donkey and female zebra, has the striped legs of a zebra but the head and body of a donkey. Although zebra-donkey hybrids are relatively rare, hybrids have been born in Italy and Mexico.
