Zepto CEO Aadit Palicha said the quick commerce startup "could've died" during the Silicon Valley Bank crisis. US-based SVB, which held deposits for many tech firms, collapsed in 2023 amid a liquidity crunch. "The biggest mistakes I made were wrong hires," he said, adding, "Those mistakes were very costly, especially during that 2022-23 period when it was existential for us."
