Hyderabad's delivery riders and gig workers affiliated with Zepto have been on indefinite strike since May 19 over harsh working conditions and unfair pay. The workers highlighted that the e-commerce platform slashed per-order payouts and made them go through unsafe delivery deadlines. Workers claimed that Zepto's dark stores lack basic facilities, including clean water, restrooms and rest areas.
