Zerodha's Rainmatter to invest ₹1,000 crore in Indian startups

Zerodha CEO Nithin Kamath said its funding initiative Rainmatter will invest additional ₹1,000 crore in Indian startups in a perennial structure or with ability to stay invested forever. Rainmatter has partnered with 80 startups and has invested nearly ₹400 crore over seven years. "Patient capital with no exit mandates that founders can benefit from when building an enterprise," Kamath said.
