Zimbabwe on Tuesday recorded their lowest total in T20I cricket history in the second T20I against Pakistan. Zimbabwe, who were 37/0 at one stage, were dismissed for 57 runs in 12.4 overs, with Sufiyan Muqeem taking a five-wicket haul. Zimbabwe's previous lowest T20I total was 82, which came against Sri Lanka in January this year.

Gold prices jumped by ₹70 to hit a fresh all-time high of ₹98,170 per 10 grams in Delhi on Thursday, according to the All India Sarafa Association. Gold of 99.9% purity had closed at ₹98,100 per 10 grams on Wednesday. Meanwhile, silver prices plunged by ₹1,400 to hit ₹98,000 per kg from Wednesday's closing level of ₹99,400 per kg.

On Pakistan Army chief Asim Munir's comments about Kashmir, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said Pakistan's only relation with Kashmir is the vacation of illegally occupied territory. Munir had called Kashmir the "jugular vein" of Islamabad. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, "How can anything foreign be their jugular vein...Kashmir is the union territory of India."

The Supreme Court said Centre will respond within seven days to pleas challenging the validity of the Waqf (Amendment) Act. The CJI-led bench said the Solicitor General has assured that no appointments will be made to the Waqf Council till next hearing. SC added that until the next date of hearing, Waqf, including Waqf-by-user already registered, shall not be denotified.

Sensex jumped 1,000 points on Thursday during noon and was trading above 78,000, hours after falling over 360 points in early trade. Nifty reclaimed the 23,700-mark in a strong intraday recovery, led by firm global cues and sustained foreign fund inflows. Eternal (Zomato), Airtel, Sun Pharma, ICICI Bank and SBI were among the top gainers on the Sensex.

The BCCI warned IPL teams & players about a suspicious Hyderabad businessman over attempts to entice them into potentially corrupt activities. The BCCI told the IPL stakeholders that the businessman has "dubious credentials" and he's actively seeking to trap individuals involved in IPL, Cricbuzz reported. The Anti-Corruption Security Unit urged the stakeholders to report any interactions with him.

The BCCI has sacked Team India assistant coach Abhishek Nayar and fielding coach T Dilip following India's defeat in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia. Strength and conditioning coach Soham Desai and a team masseur have also been reportedly sacked. The BCCI is reportedly overhauling the support staff ahead of India's Test tour of England.

DC defeated RR in their IPL 2025 match by chasing down 12-run target in Super Over. It was the first Super Over in IPL in four years. Earlier in the match, DC posted a total of 188/5, with RR scoring 188/4 in reply, which led to the Super Over. With the win, DC moved to top of the points table.

RR fast bowler Sandeep Sharma on Wednesday bowled the joint-longest over in IPL. The 31-year-old bowled a total of 11 deliveries, including four wides and a no-ball, in his fourth over against DC.
