Netrasemi, a Kerala-based semiconductor startup backed by SaaS firm Zoho, has launched its first AI chip, the A2000, built on TSMC's 12 nm process. It is among the first AI/ML chips to be designed in India and targets devices like smart cameras and edge AI boxes. The system-on-chip (SoC) is production-ready and is designed specifically for compact, power-efficient edge devices.
