Food ordering and restaurant discovery platform Zomato has acquired logistics technology startup Sparse Labs for an undisclosed amount. The two-year-old startup helps restaurants to track and optimise their in-house delivery fleet. Sparse Labs will be renamed as Zomato Trace, and it will help the Zomato users to get real-time GPS-based status updates on their orders.
