Zomato has reportedly asked several restaurant chains to increase its commission by 2-6% amid widening losses, pressures on profitability and a drop in food delivery numbers. As per Economic Times, those restaurant operators that have refused to agree to the demand are being told they could be delisted from the platform. Zomato usually charges a commission of 18-25% per delivery.
