Zomato has fired 600 employees from its customer support team within a year of hiring them, Moneycontrol reported, at a time when it's experiencing slowing growth. The company had hired the employees under Zomato Associate Accelerator Program, offering the chance to be elevated to roles across multiple roles. However, contracts of a majority of the employees didn't get renewed.
