Thirteen companies including Zomato, Swiggy, Dunzo, SpiceJet and Reliance-backed Asteria Aerospace have reportedly received approval from Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to conduct long-range experimental drone flights. Selected firms are expected to start conducting flights in the first week of July. They're mandated to complete a minimum of 100 hours of flight time by September 30.
