A fatal viral disease has turned pigeons in the UK's Jersey into zombie-like creatures, causing them to develop twisted necks and walk around in circles, reports said. Pigeons that fall ill with pigeon paramyxovirus experience a range of neurological symptoms, lose weight, have green droppings, and are reluctant to move. Notably, it can cause conjunctivitis in people handling sick birds.
