Zoya Akhtar slams Mumbai's floating ad barge plan

Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar has criticised the Maharashtra Maritime Board's plan to introduce floating advertising barges along Mumbai's coastline. She called Mumbai already an 'assault on the senses' and said residents need 'respite, not sponsored sunsets.' She urged authorities to limit commercial signage to designated zones and ensure citizens have a say before such installations are approved.
