Zuari Agro Chemicals paid a settlement of ₹2.91 crore to SEBI for misrepresentation of financial statements, Moneycontrol reported, citing the settlement order. SEBI had alleged that the company under-reported its losses for FY2020 and misrepresented its financial statements. As part of the settlement, the company agreed to a 3-month voluntary debarment from trading in the securities market.
