Zuckerberg opposes AI regulation proposal in private call with Trump

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg voiced concern over plans to create a national AI regulator during private telephone call with US President Donald Trump last month, Politico reported. The proposal would create an independent organisation modelled on US' Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Earlier, Zuckerberg had said federal oversight body could delay AI model releases.
