Actor Aneet Padda walked the ramp as showstopper for designer Amit Aggarwal's AM:IT label at Lakme Fashion Week X FDCI grand finale. The showcase featured structured silhouettes, recycled materials, and vibrant colours. Padda wore a corset with wide-leg purple trousers, sporting purple glitter eyeshadow, and called the collaboration 'incredible'.

Manish Malhotra showcased his Luxury Pret 2026 collection at Lakme Fashion Week, featuring structured corsets, fluid dhoti skirts, metallics, and velvet in jewel tones. The show also marked the debut of Menswear Luxe Pret. Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan closed the show as showstoppers. The collection was held in partnership with FDCI.

Scouted in 2020, she worked on test shoots during the pandemic before signing with international agencies in 2022. She made her international runway debut at Milan Fashion Week for Bottega Veneta's Spring/Summer 2023 show.

The 2026 Circular Design Challenge received 220 applications from over 15 countries, its largest since launching in 2018, said Reliance Industries' Hemant Sharma. Organised with France's Embassy, UN India, and Lakme Fashion Week, the initiative has seen nearly 1,500 total applications since inception, helping young entrepreneurs commercialise sustainable fashion innovations.
