16 Epstein files disappear from US govt website within a day of release

At least 16 files disappeared from US Department of Justice's public webpage for documents related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in less than a day after they were released. The missing files include a photograph of US President Donald Trump, alongside his wife Melania Trump, Epstein and Epstein's longtime associate Ghislaine Maxwell. The department provided no explanation for this.

Chief selector Ajit Agarkar and captain Suryakumar Yadav said he's a terrific and quality player and has been left out due to combination the team management wants to play. Govt body responds to 'cancer risk in eggs' claims, says 'Eggs in India are safe'

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India has issued a statement amid claims linking eggs to cancer risk. FSSAI officials said the claims are misleading, unscientific and capable of creating unnecessary public alarm, adding that eggs in India are safe. They added that using carcinogenic substances like nitrofuran is strictly prohibited at all stages of poultry and egg production.

As many as seven cricketers, who featured in India's T20 World Cup 2024 squad, are not a part of T20 World Cup 2026 squad. Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja have not been included as they have retired from T20Is. The other four players are Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rishabh Pant, Yuzvendra Chahal and Mohammed Siraj.
