On being asked if Indian ships will get safe passage from the Strait of Hormuz amid war, Iran's Ambassador to India Mohammad Fathali on Friday said, "Yes, you can see in the future...in two-three hours." "Iran and India are friends...We believe that Iran and India share common interests in the region," he added.

During press briefing amid the war in the Middle East, the government informed that there was an attack in Oman's Muscat on Friday that led to the death of two Indian nationals. "Of the 11 people who sustained injuries, 10 were Indians. Five of them were discharged after receiving treatment. None of them sustained serious injuries," the government stated.
