Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on Friday opened a soft drink bottling plant, which is said to be worth ₹550 crore, at Asurari in Begusarai. State Industries Minister Syed Shahnawaz Hussain said the Pepsi bottling plant of Varun Beverages Limited would generate employment and give preference to locals. He further announced that 17 ethanol units would be opened soon in Bihar.
