Indonesian President Joko Widodo has said that India and Indonesia have cultural and religious ties going back centuries and that Ramayana and Mahabharata are very famous in Indonesia. Notably, Indonesia has the world's largest Muslim population. He further stressed that both the nations must cooperate closely in the key areas of defence, security and counter-terrorism.
