Einstein's brain was stolen after death

Albert Einstein’s brain was illegally removed after his death in 1955 by the doctor who performed his autopsy, but no actual studies were conducted on it till the 1980’s. The Princeton Hospital doctor kept the brain in a glass jar, sending dissected samples to researchers. Pieces of Einstein’s brain are now on display at the Mütter Museum, Philadelphia.
