South Korean electronics major Samsung on Thursday issued a formal recall of its latest Galaxy Note 7 smartphone in the US after 92 reported cases of overheated batteries. The company confirmed 26 reports of burns and 55 reports of property damage, including fires in cars and a garage. The smartphone's replacements will arrive by September 21 in the country.
