Iraj Elahi, Iran's envoy to India, said Iran should get a new President by Saturday. "Today, we are holding...second round of...Presidential [polls]...Over 700 polling centres are accepting the votes of the Iranians," he said. The run-off polls were held between reformist candidate Masoud Pezeshkian and hard-liner Saeed Jalili as the initial vote saw the candidates not securing an outright win.
