Gujarat's Rajkot Municipal Corporation has come under scrutiny after ₹46.31 lakh was spent during a three-day demolition drive in February. The expenditure included ₹27.20 lakh on tea, snacks/refreshments and meals for officials and police, ₹12.40 lakh on bottled mineral water and ₹6.70 lakh on mandap (temporary shelter/tent) services. Around 21,310 cups of tea were served to over 4,800 personnel.
