National para athlete Chirag Tyagi, who was found dead at a park in Ghaziabad, was allegedly killed by his friend and former roommate. Para athlete Yash Khatik was arrested on the basis of CCTV footage. Yash was allegedly upset with Chirag over submitting a complaint regarding the accused's document verification due to which his qualification got cancelled, stated police.
