Cabinet approves ITLA to unify India's transport planning

The Union Cabinet approved setting up Integrated Transport & Logistics Authority (ITLA) as an apex SPV for integrated transport planning, research, and monitoring. It will prepare a National Transport Master Plan, appraise projects above ₹500 crore, and build a unified transport data repository to reduce logistics costs and boost India's global competitiveness by 2047.
