A Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) bench has quashed the appointment of BrahMos Aerospace CEO Jaiteerth R Joshi, who assumed office in December 2024. His appointment was challenged by scientist Sivasubramaniam Nambi Naidu, who claimed he'd been superseded despite being senior-most candidate as he's seven years senior to Joshi. CAT has directed Defence Ministry to reconsider Naidu's claim.
