A man has been arrested in UP's Gorakhpur for posing as an IAS officer for six months and carrying out large-scale extortions on the pretext of giving out tenders and jobs, police said. Accused Lalit Kishor posed as 'Gaurav Kumar' and moved around in beacon-fitted vehicles, displayed forged government nameplates and even hired a stenographer and 10 gunmen, reports said.
