J&K saw no stone-pelting incidents in 2025, drew a record 2.3 crore tourists

Jammu and Kashmir saw no incidents of stone-pelting in 2025, according to the Ministry of Defence's 2025-26 Annual Report. Security forces eliminated 12 Pakistani terrorists and foiled all six infiltration attempts. The LoC witnessed 163 ceasefire violations in 2025, out of which 124 took place during Operation Sindoor. Jammu and Kashmir drew a record 2.3 crore tourists in 2025.
