At least 12 students have reportedly died by suicide in the 37 days since the original National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET)-UG examination was cancelled on May 12 due to paper leak. The deaths have been reported from places including Goa, Nagpur, Tamil Nadu, Delhi and Uttarakhand. Over 20 lakh candidates are set to appear for the NEET-UG re-test on June 21.
