Up to eight new greenfield townships are likely to be developed near the Delhi-NCR region, according to a proposal by the Regional Plan 2041 for the National Capital Region. These hubs are supposed to be built in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Rajasthan and will have modern civic infrastructure. The plan will be discussed in a meeting on June 16.
