Bill Gates' daughter may face up to 20 years in prison over 'cookie stuffing': Report
Phia, a shopping startup co-founded by Bill Gates' daughter Phoebe, allegedly earned commissions on sales it didn't drive through "cookie stuffing", an illegal affiliate marketing practice. Lawyer Ariel Givner said the practice is treated as wire fraud in the US, carrying up to 20 years in prison. Bloomberg reported that Phoebe knew about the malpractice months before it emerged publicly.
