Filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj recently revealed that the Rajinikanth-starrer 'Coolie' suffered ₹50 crore in revenue loss due to its 'A' certification. He complained about CBFC's orders and said, "I was okay with the 9 muted words they asked, but not the 35 cuts...The board stated that the film thematically falls under an A certificate due to the depiction of electric cremation."
