Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has blamed the Madhya Pradesh government for the moong procurement crisis behind the farmers' protest in Bhopal. In a letter to MP CM Mohan Yadav, he stated that Madhya Pradesh had procured only around 60,000 metric tonnes of moong. Shivraj asked the state government to ensure that procurement of moong is expedited at the earliest.
