Authorities in Mumbai have begun demolishing the decades-old Hazrat Barkat Ali Shah Dargah in the ecologically sensitive Aarey Colony. The structure, which allegedly encroached on government land, had reportedly been served multiple notices which were ignored. Visuals showed a large police presence and heavy machinery deployed at the site to raze the unauthorised structure.
