Tamil actor Suriya's fans, who arrived early for first-day celebrations in Puducherry, staged protests outside theatres after several shows of 'Karuppu' were cancelled. The sudden disruption left fans frustrated, who raised slogans against producer S R Prabhu and the production banner Dream Warrior Pictures. The film, initially scheduled for May 14, will now be released on May 15.
