A woman died and at least four others are critically ill following allegations of expired saline being administered to patients at Midnapore Medical College and Hospital in West Bengal. A 10-member enquiry committee was formed by the West Bengal Health Department. The action was taken after relatives of the affected patients lodged a formal complaint with the police on Friday.
