Israel has killed Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar in attacks in Gaza. Sinwar, who was the mastermind of last year's October 7 attack on Israel, was named as Hamas chief after Ismail Haniyeh's assassination in Iran in July 2024. Israel said that two other terrorists were also eliminated in the attacks.
