Microsoft will unveil a new AI coding model at its developer conference in San Francisco next week to boost adoption of GitHub Copilot, The Information reported. The company is also planning models for transcription, reasoning, speech and image tasks. The move comes amid reports that Microsoft curtailed employee use of Claude Code over high token costs.
