India-US trade deal's first phase finalised

Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal said the first tranche of the India-US bilateral trade deal has been finalised and is undergoing legal drafting. He added that the deal would be operationalised once India secured a competitive advantage over its peer countries. US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor also said major issues related to the agreement had been resolved.
