A railway pointsman has been rewarded ₹10,000 for saving a 22-year-old passenger from an accident at Karnataka's Murdeshwar Railway Station. Ganapati Naik noticed the passenger trying to get off a moving train before he lost balance. A now-viral clip showed Naik rushing to the spot, grabbing him and pulling him away from the gap between the train and the platform.
