Rahman's 'Mangal Rang' gets mixed reactions online

AR Rahman's 'Mangal Rang', composed for the wedding scene of Lord Rama and Sita in the upcoming film 'Ramayana', has received mixed online reactions. Many listeners feel the qawwali-inspired track doesn't suit the epic's traditional tone, with some comparing it to 'Kun Faya Kun'. The film, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi, releases November 5, 2026.
