Sent Instagram DM to Kashyap, got my first break: Filmmaker Shivam

Filmmaker-writer Shivam Shankar recalled how director Anurag Kashyap helped him get his first break, calling him his "teenage hero". "I made a short film as our graduation project...a very terrible film," recalled Shankar, adding, "I was feeling very low...One night I wrote him a text on Instagram...He was kind enough to reply, 'Whenever you're in Mumbai, you can join me'."
