Actor Mushtaq Khan was once kidnapped for ₹1 crore, escaped after hearing Azaan

Actor Mushtaq Khan, who passed away on Thursday, was allegedly kidnapped in 2024 after being lured with a fake event invitation. He was taken to UP, where his kidnappers reportedly held and tortured him for nearly 12 hours, demanding ₹1 crore ransom. Khan escaped after hearing the Azaan, realising a mosque was nearby, and sought help from locals and police.
