An alleged human placenta smuggling operation was busted in Pakistan's Islamabad and 5 people, including 3 Chinese nationals, were arrested. Officials carried out a late-night raid at a residence, where they discovered a facility being used for illegal processing of organs, with particular focus on human placentas. The placenta is a temporary organ that develops inside uterus during pregnancy.
