Chorbagan puja pandal, where stampede killed 19, was named among WB's 'best of the best'

Kolkata's Chorbagan Sarbojanin Durga Puja, where a stampede killed at least 19 people on Saturday, was recognised with the West Bengal government's 'Devi Durga Samman 2026' award. It was selected in the 'Best of the Best' category and ranked third, after Santosh Mitra Square and Brindaban Garden Durgapuja Samity. The award was presented on October 16.
