PM Narendra Modi and Japanese PM Sanae Takaichi virtually inaugurated Maruti Suzuki's ₹35,000 crore vehicle manufacturing facility at Kharkhoda in Haryana. The inauguration took place during Takaichi's first official visit to India as Japan's PM from July 1 to 3. The facility is Maruti Suzuki's fourth vehicle manufacturing unit and has an annual production capacity of 10 lakh vehicles.
