Market regulator SEBI's Chairperson Madhabi Puri Buch and her husband Dhaval Buch released a joint statement after Hindenburg Research and Congress accused them of conflicts of interest. Calling the allegations "false, incorrect, malicious and motivated", they said their income tax returns have been obtained illegally.
